Behna

By Sonia Likhari

A sister is both a curse and a blessing...

It's Ladies' Sangeet Night. The guests are arriving, the bride's having her henna done. But in the kitchen sibling rivalry simmers alongside the samosas. This fast paced, funny and moving play takes a look through the keyhole of a family home to reveal the secrets and lies of two generations of sisters. As the celebrations peak, truth, jealously and history unfold as the sisters struggle with much more than the samosas and pakoras.

This site-specific production will take place in a kitchen of a Wednesbury home in a unique, intimate and lively piece of theatre.
